Start-Up Bromley is about building a thriving local business community, focusing on established Bromley businesses helping new and emerging companies in the borough.
Start-Up Bromley will host regular workshops both virtually and in-person covering different aspects of starting up, launching and building a business. Speakers from a variety of companies will share their knowledge and experience with Start-Up Bromley members.

Start Up Bromley is a business support programme operating through Bromley libraries, to help potential entrepreneurs, start ups and more established businesses achieve their business goals, as well as develop the skills and confidence to start and grow businesses. Start Up Bromley is able to support businesses and potential entrepreneurs through the provision of: workshops, webinars, training events, networking opportunities, mentoring and coaching, opportunities to test business ideas and trade in retail spaces, business 121’s, access to digital and paper based business resources and much more. To date, Start Up Bromley currently supports over 500 businesses and potential entrepreneurs, and has delivered over 60 events, and over 100 business 121’s.
The majority of the businesses we support are business owners, from a wide range of industries such as: professional services, construction/manufacturing/engineering, retail, leisure/hospitality/restaurant/, health/social work, creative industries, IT, fitness and wellbeing, education/training etc. Start Up Bromley is also a recent recipient of UKSPF (UK Shared Prosperity Funding), and will be supporting potential entrepreneurs to start businesses through an extensive programme of business support activities between now and March 2025, as well support current businesses create and safeguard jobs, improve their service/products and explore new markets.
