Good Work Bromley
Good Work is work that pays a fair wage, has pathways for career progression, is inclusive and provides flexibility.
Good work practices provide numerous benefits to both the employee and the employer. Employees are fairly treated and rewarded and benefit from good working conditions and a safe working environment. Good work practices can also be beneficial to the performance and success of an organisation. Benefits include recruitment and retention of staff, increased productivity, cost savings, improved employee engagement and motivation, reduced absences and reputational gain.
As part of Bromley Town Centre being selected as one of London’s three new Night Time Enterprise Zones, the case studies showcased will be based in Bromley Town Centre. These case studies will demonstrate the benefits of good work practices that other organisations in the town centre and across the borough can strive towards and achieve, enabling good work standards for both day and night workers across Bromley.

“We are Living Wage accredited and members of the Good Business Charter. We are especially proud to be accepted into the GLAs Good Work Standard along with only 119 other businesses. The criteria didn't really fit a micro business like ourselves but with the help of Jane Knight at Successfull Mums we went to committee and became a member last year. https://www.london.gov.uk/programmes-strategies/business-and-economy/supporting-business/good-work-standard-gws/good-work-standard-accredited-employers?ac-164977=164974. One of the main attributes of a good employer is inclusivity. We embraced an inclusive employment strategy and it has been rewarding to see how being inclusive gives us so many different and positive viewpoints. “

We are a global technology resourcing company, with over 17 years’ experience placing consultants within international household brands and Fortune/FTSE 500 companies.
For the month of August 2023 we have sponsored the Umbrella Project in partnership with Bromley Council, The ADHD Foundation and OpnFlo, https://www.bromley.gov.uk/news/article/548/high-street-umbrella-project-installation-celebrates-neurodiversity-in-bromley, which has seen 65 colourful umbrellas, aloft over Bromley High Street. As no two brains think alike, we can be open to new ideas and ways of working and as we grow, we will bring an inclusive culture into the boardroom and the office.
We are very proud to have been awarded the Neurodiversity Friendly Employer Award from the ADHD Foundation. https://www.adhdfoundation.org.uk/services-for-business/
