About the Speakers

Partnered by Caron Pollard, Business Strategist and Clare Flaxen, Ivy League Trained Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Mindset Strategist; this duo marries business and mindset strategies to support ambitious leaders and entrepreneurs to scale their businesses and careers and fulfil ambition professionally and personally.

Clare has over 25 years’ experience in the mental health and wellness space, with 15 years in the NHS and public sector education, before training as a CBT therapist at the University of Pennsylvania and opening her own private practice and mindset training business. She works predominantly with founders, entrepreneurs and creatives, and women in leadership roles.

Caron is runs a Business Strategy Consultancy providing strategic and leadership support to entrepreneurs and organisations at specific growth trajectories. Her expertise lies in scalable business strategy, digital marketing and retention. An alumni of the former SiLL programme Caron transitioned from a corporate career in Customer Strategy to entrepreneur, leading to amazing opportunities, projects and launching The Challenger CEO podcast.

The core values that underpin their work are empowered business, mindset, and wellbeing strategies. Together, they run Empowered Minds, a network called for gutsy women in business ready to grow; run in person networking and mastermind events, deliver online and in person training, group mastermind programmes and work with organisations to support their goals.

This event is delivered by Start up Bromley which is a business support services designed to support aspiring entrepreneurs, start ups and established businesses to build their entrepreneurial skills and confidence, as well as giving them access to business information and resources.

We offer our members a variety of expert led workshops, 1-2-1’s with a business manager , access to business resources, opportunities to trade and test business ideas, co-working and office space, networking events and much more.
